A6's on that panoz would be sweet!

Did you finish up the engine build? When is it hitting the track?

Coming out to the Mazda Drivers VIR Grand East event in June? Looking forward to seeing your Panoz and all the work you've done to it.

Yes... Panoz will be out for Mazdadrivers Grand East then going to run VIR full w/ them again in August.

EDIT: Aren't A6s auto-x tires? I want something that will last a little bit.

See above

Car made 307 rwhp and 297 rwtq. The limiting factor is the FMS shorty headers... they suck, but they fit w/o having to make custom headers and fab new side-pipes. True LTs would be worth 20 horse/torque easily.

Best thing... it weighs 2571 Will make a thread when I get updated pics of it.

I've gotten my A6's from him since From what I hear, some guys use them for qualifying or for one event on track and chuck em.

Since they heat faster than the R6, but in turn don't hold up as well.

I paid $322 for each rear A6 ( 315-30/18 ) new, and got TWO of the same that look like 80% tread left for $160 total.

Now only if they could find me the fronts I'd be set.

Yea, the A6s are for auto-x, but great for racing...not something you would want to run in HPDE. The R6's hold up a LONG time...If you can, a new set will last you a while on that car being light weight.

Sounds like you are making great power...hopefully you can make it to ST2 or similar racing one day with the car.

^ Yeah that's the eventual plan... but I've been busy with work etc. that track crap has been way down on the ladder. I hear you got your first win

I'm going to try and learn this car now w/ it's new goodies and go to comp school.

It is listed as 275/45-17's but I believe they are actually 275/40's:http://www.nasaforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=26558
