Quite a few within 5 miles, off of I95. In No order, there's a Holiday Inn, Econo Lodge, Comfort Inn, La Quinta Inn and a couple of other new ones on HYW 80. At the Airport enterance, you have some Marriott chains, Hilton Garden Inn, Staybridge, Country Inn and Suites, Comfort Suites, Cambara, and then there'a a Red Roof Inn on the other side of I95. Might be a little crowd this week and next as St Patricks day is the middle of next week and depending on how many people come early and stay late, hotes may be crouded. There are a couple of other new ones, an internet search should find, Econo and Comfort are probably the most reasonable.

Something I've actually researched.
Best bang for your buck if you are not staying with a group running is SLEEP-INN. It's a new hotel - and it's clean. GA I-95 Exit 102
Sleep Inn, 105 San Drive, Pooler, 912-748-8545
They have 67 rooms. Without making any deals their rooms some have reported getting rooms at $49 when they have called directly or on line for $65.

We now stay up by the Savannah Airport. Our group likes Hawthorn Suites and another group I know likes Wingate. Both supply breakfast in the morning, complimentary...
Hawthorn Suites (Rooms large enough for 3 people)
4 Stephen S Green Drive (I-95 Exit 104)
Savannah, GA 31408 US
Phone: 912-966-002

Then I use to give this list out - and the prices are off of the internet.
Magnolia Inn Suites (Next door Sleep Inn) GA I-95 Exit 102
107 San Drive, Pooler
912-748-6883
They have 40 rooms
Their average daily rate is $65.
La Quinta Inn Suites
912-748-3771
414 Gray St. Pooler, GA (Across from Holiday Inn) GA I-95 Exit 102
They have 63 rooms and the rate is about $99 a night (plus tax)
Other standby hotels:

Clubs that let all marques run at RRR:
Chin March 21-22
Audi will be there March 29-29
Florida Crown PCA will be there April 5-6
Dark Side will be there May 1-3
And yes, Quality Inn (old Comfort Inn), Red Roof and Best Western are older hotels who have seen better days. They are also very reasonably priced and they do clean their rooms. If you splurge try Cambria by the Airport - it's just "lovely" - new and eco-friendly.

FYI- HOD also lets all marques run, and we have a fleet of Corvette's for rent with instructors.

I've stayed at the Microtel in pooler (right off I 95) a couple of times.
Not bad rates and meets the wifes approval.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn twice and it was pretty nice. This time we are going to try the new Sleep Inn next door. The rates for a 3-day stay are discounted. It'll cost a bit over $200 for 3 days. Close to the track.
We'll be there for Chin. Looking forward to getting back out on track.

BTW - Sleep Inn has complimentary breakfast and decent rates. Next door is Magnolia Inn - don't know how they are but their rates were reasonable. The other next door is the Holiday Inn. They have raised their rates and no complimentary breakfast. It's why we are now over by the airport.

We went up there last month and stayed in the Red Roof Inn. I can say that the Wife and I will not do that again, it is older and our room must have been a smoking room at some point as I don't think you could get the oder out of the place.
It was still offset with a grate weekend at the track!
