What's not to like? A blue shark with sidepipes, flairs, low profile headlight covers and American Mags. That's what I call a beautiful racer.
I may even be interested in a trade.

Very nice. I like the mirror and the LeMans gas cap in particular. Overall it looks like a fun car to drive.

That reminds me of my first track car a 69 also, except it was red with white stripes. Brings back many memories.

Very nice looking car! Look forward to seeing you out there! What size wheel are you running in the front?

Whose car was it or was it a fresh build?

No, unfortunately it's not my car. Here is a similar one for sale: http://www.racecars360.com/Corvette_...Big_Block.html

Love the vintage stuff.

I'm hoping to add a big block bumper car to my stable some day.

No, I mean who built it originally! Or was it a street car before?

I came across it from reading posts in the original forum - which is a motorcycle roadracing forum. The car belongs to the OPs father. If you are interested in learning more about the car and builder, I'm sure the OP will be happy to provide it. I retired from racing bikes and am now into Corvettes. So, when I found the post I thought I would share.

Vance I raced bikes AAMRR and WERA back in the 1970s. I highsided at Bridgehampton and broke a lota bones just 2 weeks before I got married in 1977. I'm still married, and 68 yers old, so I guess you'd have to say that I've retired from bikes too. She still lets me race Vintage cars though

I recently picked up an 02 Z06 - my first Vette. I plan on getting it on the track, but it's going to be a slow process. Regarding bikes - after retiring I stayed in the racing scene for a few years helping out as a pit b__ch. The endurance events were a lot of fun. When I retired my wife thought I was crazy. She couldn't understand why I quite something I loved. She's a keeper that's for sure.
