Default Do you cover your racing tires in the summer?

Do any of you with open trailers and tire racks cover your tires to protect the rubber from the effects from the sun? I'm referring to traveling a week or ten days for an event. What type of damage could be caused by the sunlight on those hot sunny days?

Lots.

Take em off, cover them to keep UV off of them, controlled temps and avoid ozone.
