Go Pro Camera??
Does anyone now anything about this camera system or knows of someone that has used it?? I have a chance to become a Vendor for this product and I am looking for some other user experiences.
Here is a link to the camera

Here is a review of the camera
http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-13746_7-10083995-48.html
Camera can record an hour of video to a 2Gig car and it uses 2 AAA batteries for power.
If this product checks out I can offer this product cheaper that there website.

Good to hear, a friend of mine has one and I have looked at his motorcycle vids and they look great, I just want other people opinions because if I sell this product, it has to be high quality stuff.

I have got one and it is a good camera for the price and very versatile. The audio is sub par on mine as well and that seems to be consistent for most users. It needs the freshest strongest batteries to function well, I put in a freshly charged set of 1000mAh rechargeable batteries with each new card.

I have one as well. The video is good, but I had real problems with the audio, mostly static. I thought it was electrical interference from the car. Sent it back to GoPro along with a video of my track day. They said they found a small problem and repaired it. I haven't had a chance to use it yet since it came back. I have heard from others that the audio is big problem with them, although the video posted at Sebring sure sounds good.

I've got their motorsports 180* wide angle version and no issues so far.
Picked it up on that auction website from a vendor for $158 shipped.
I use it on my helmet:

or stick it outside my car:

make sure you watch them in HIGH QUALITY

Does that suction cup they talk about really keep the camera on the car during a run?? Do you guys that have the camera use it or do you have some sort of solid mount?

I bought one & tried it a few times.
The icons for the different modes are tiny, very hard to read.
I decided I wanted on that has some data aquisition capabilities, gforce, mph, etc.
Good price though.

Cost effective and good value? Definitely.

I too never was able to get reasonable sound of it. On low you can't hear anything, on high all I got was static and I tried lots of things to insulate the camera from the case to no avail.
The other problem is that the batteries don't last long. I've had more than one session that got cut short because the batteries weren't just charged or I turned it on too soon in the staging lane.
Next year I'm going to try a regular miniDV camera.

The two audio settings are "static" and "silence".

I ended up buying a mount and using my digital camera to record. It has a screen so I can watch my autocross runs before the next run, which is cool.

Get one which doesn't have moving parts - one which records direct
to a flash card.
I use a high-end Sony camera which is a truly wonderful piece of technology,
but it keeps on shutting down mid-session due, I believe, to hard-disk
shock protection.
