Default WTB: Rear Adjustable T1 Sway Bar

Looking for a rear adjustable T1 bar
Just the bar, don't need links or bushings.

Thanks,
JRL

I'm pretty sure there's a newer bar with 3 holes, one if my buddies has it on his car.

I have one for sale, but it's the early version without the appropriate bends to accommodate mufflers.. PM me if you're interested.

Lancer,

Thanks, thats good info. So I assume that C6 bar has the same stiffness as the C5 T1 bar?

Just note there was a batch of t1 bars made that do not fit the c5 and only the c6.

I bought these bars from a C6 owner for my c5z and they fit like stock.

I always assumed they did, but I'm not sure. Anyone have the specs? EDIT: Now that I think about it, pfadt racing shows the specs of these bars in their sway bar graph. I'm just not sure how stiff the c5 rear bar is compared to the c6 bar at each setting.

Anyone know how to indentify the ones that don't fit C5s?

Just curious, since some fit both the c6 and c5 (like mine), how can some not fit both cars?

Apparently,(I've been told) there were some early C6 bars that do not clear the stock exhaust systems on either C5s or C6s. The design was changed and that fitment issue was resolved.

I believe they would fit the c6 and not the c5 though not 100% sure of that. I can tell you I was sent one of these and the problem was getting around the exhaust on my c5. About the same time I got mine more people started to have issues and that is when gm stopped making them in order to have 1 bar fit both models (which was the plan in the first place).

the diameter is the same, so it's got to be pretty close to the same stiffness if not exactly the same...assuming that you are ignoring the adjustments

The bar I have was an "early" C6 bar, it is an adjustable bar (3 holes per end). It was made specifically to fit cars with *no* mufflers. I had to remove the mufflers on my C6 for it to work. I suspect it would fit a C5 without mufflers. They only sold "my" version of the bar for a few months iirc.

my $.02 USD
