Default My Track Day at GrandSport Speedway (Video Clip)

This is some in car video filmed 2-8-09 at GrandSport Speedway located at a WWII blimp base in Hitchcock, Texas. In June 2008 I attended Spring Mountain Driving School as a feeler to gauge my interest in driving HPDE's. I purchased a 2002 ZO6 in August 2008 and added a few mods to keep it running cool and for safety. Since I've owned the car I have driven a total of eleven 20 minute sessions including the one below, it would have been more but I had to deal with a few mechanical/electrical gremlins. I have been off the track a few times on my last two track days, thankfully without drama or damage. I love my new hobby and just wanted to share this short video with everbody here

You did a nice job staying smooth. For the seat time you mention, you look good. Good to hear you found the grass a few times without incident, now you know where the limit is!

Off topic: Take off your watch next time as that can end up cutting you.

Nice video --Welcome to the brotherhood - you will find that tracking your Vette is very addictive. You need to find a longer track that will really let you stretch the legs of that Z car. Concentrate on more seat time before making more mods to the car.

Listening to the engine with your excellent quality audio; sounds like your MAF needs tuning.
And upon further analysis; I think your VE tables are dialed in!
One question:
Were those other guys driving or knitting a sweater?
