Default Hey Lehman...

I'm right on your heels.

I only ran 1 lap on the fresh tires and was only 7/10ths off your best time. The car felt INCREDIBLE. With a few more laps, I should have easily been down to 29.5.

I ran 29.93 on 1 run and shut it down. Saving the tires for tomorrow.

So much for that fast course theory of yours. When you ran the 28 and change and me the 29.97, I was on junk tires.

I'm convinced that TIRES win races. I think I should have a sponsor in the next few months. Gonna wrap the car with advertisements and get the sponsor to buy me tires.

ASP vs. SS

His car is heavily modified. I'm stock, with just Pfadt inverted shocks and fresh Hoosiers.

Also, that was his best of the day. I did my time in 1 run.

It's also a C5Z06 (ASP) Vs a C6Z06 (SS) if I'm not mistaken. Pretty cool, keep up the good work

Just for the record.... you guys suck that get to run events year round

Hey, Lehman, when are you going to see a doctor about that itching problem?

Wish I were in Fla with you guys. I'm freezing my itchy parts here in PA.

I think Lehmans car need another visit to RAFT north to make his car a little more ASP friendly........I belive it is in his plans for later in the year...........

If this event you guys ran was @ Ft. Meyers, the last time I was there they gave a lot of opportunities to use BIG power and the general speed was also high. If your event was like this this plays into the hand of the C6 Z06 with its decidedly better power and genreally poor autocross gearing.........Not that I prefer the normal "slow" autocross courses......I envy you guys with super-site availability

Lucky bastards........

I may want to come see you with my Z06. I'm DESPERATELY awaiting the PAX results from today, but I already did the math, and it's very possible I finished #1 in PAX. I "think" I was 4th in RAW. We had about 90 drivers. I was #1 in SS and beat last year's season long class champ by 7/10ths.

Christ, the anticipation is killing me.

Dave,

OMG it doesn't get any closer in PAX.

http://gulfcoastautocrossers.com/200...nt%201_pax.htm

58.702 vs. 58.759

0.05 is CLOSE.

Great job Craig.....

But remember I SUCK.

Actually really good driving Craig-----

And yes Danny....It was much faster in especially one section where when I didn't go to
3rd on a run....my first run...I was hitting my 7000 rpm limiter, about 75mph for a good 4 seconds.
Shifted to 3rd on some succesive runs---none of them were perfect...had to upshift, and then down shift.

I told Craig.....I would spot him like 1.5 seconds heads up----even with the highspeed course.
..I thought "MONEY IN THE BAG !".......

I was wrong......barely outpaxed the dude.....had to hand it to him for his good drive.
Thank God I never have to go to 3rd in SCCA autox. My 16 year old daughter ran my car at the event also
......big old fun time.

That's what's all about......trying to talk Craig into betting me $50 I will beat him by at least 1.5 seconds
at Dixie raw time-
---(don't anyone tell him that best times are added from 2 days...and last year time for me was like 88.6..
....20 seconds or so longer than today's course....and certainly not going to 3rd---with just a bit of rev limiter action
for me in 2nd)

So Craig....you going to give me a chance to win my money back ?

David Lehman

PS----Danny, my car goes and goes....it doesn't miss a beat....I never have to fix anything
and race the living snot out of it....
of course those front side plastic thingies are hanging by a thread.....thanks

PSS---Beautiful weather today....a little unseasonably warm.....high of about 80 or so all week
....wow......of course I did get Hurricane Wilma blow off part of my roof 3 years ago.

PSSS---Craig cut this SS crap out......get Danny to turn your car into a ASP MONSTER.....lets do battle !
