Default PBIR (Moroso) Dec 20 with SAFE Motorsports-Anyone Going?

The track has been open for about a month and looks great. Quite a few Ferraris and such have been laying down some rubber on the track over the past month. I'll be there this Saturday for the first event for me in a year. Hopefully I'll see some of you out there and nothing on my car will break. SAFE is the best group to run with IMO.

I'll be there with about 15-20 other members of the Deep South Cobra Club.

The track is nice ran there with hooked on driving last month, completely diff than the old moroso, a little slick for my likings but it was cool and a night event so that makes it tuff, I was at the Ferrai event and they were not hittin it too hard. SCCA has ran an event or two, but on a warm day no issues. The rear straight is a hoot, I hit 140, the breathless Z like 160 and a few race cars & zo6 where hittin high 140-mid 150. Depending on exit speed lead into back straight. The final turn ( 11?) now, at the end of the straight is tuff. You will really test your brakes setting up for it. The turn seem to go on for ever. Track is more tech. than the old, 3 sweeping dec. radius turns, work on your neck muscles. Going back for two days in Jan. with PCA for instructors weekend. Good luck Safe MS, Phil S runs a good show.
