Default 3" flex brake cooling tubing

I must be getting the wrong tubing for the brake cooling. It keeps splitting and the wire wrap springs out. What is the proper tubing?
This is also a street car,2002 coupe.

Mine does the same. Is expected with use I'm thinking. I keep duct taping it back together and it does fine.

make sure that it does not bind, stretch or crush all the way through the travel. Which type are you using? Black, orange, blue or silver?

SCEET tubing is the best, it is lined inside and outside of the wire. However, it can still unwind at the ends. Usually, I just bend/fold the loose end of the wire back into the tubing, and it stays fine.

CEET is also double lined, but it can't stand as much heat

I agree with David on the SCEET tubing. Bought some at the beginning of last season and have run it all year without problem. It is expensive but worth it. When you install the tubing take some duct tape and double tape the area where the wire ends running inside to outside. It will keep the wire from popping out and coming loose.

I usually use the cheaper CEET tubing.....but it caught on fire at CMP. Since the C6Z06 only needs 3' TOTAL to extend the OEM ducts, it's worth getting the better product.
