Carbotech's improved one piece is out and available in ALL compounds! We were the first aftermarket brake pad manufacturer to release the C6 Z06 padlets almost four years ago. Then we were the first to release the C6 Z06 one piece that we co-developed with GM two years ago. But, we weren't happy with that design for several reasons. That design is now what our competitor uses.

We redesigned it ourselves this time and it is more user friendly and reliable then the previous one piece. Our new One Piece can be used with the pins and spring clips in place. You do not have to take out the pins or spring clips, the pads will drop right in giving them a proper fit. The spring clips are very important to use when using the one piece. The spring clips will help reduce noise and help keep the one piece aligned properly inside the caliper (avoiding any binding).
We are using the NRS technology with our backing plates. The backing plates are laser cut using high-strength steel much stronger then our competitors and/or typical OEM backing plates.

NRS technology gives brake pads the strongest sheer strength on the market. I will provide pictures of the NRS backing plates in another post below. At Carbotech, we use NRS technology in all our C6, C5, and C4 backing plates. Just like with our C6 (base), C5, and C4 brake pads, the new One Piece is molded to the backing plate. This means the material has a maximized surface area and has a higher density along with no rivets.

Both the front and rear One Piece pads are available in ALL compounds. I want to thank you for your patience with us while we developed this new and improved One Piece pad.
