Road Atlanta with NASA-SE in December
I am bringing the full crew to Road Atlanta - but more then likely only one car (the FRC).
Who's making it? I have seen the TT list - sold out again. Looks like about 10 cars in TTA.

Unfortunately we're going to miss it. We'll be at Thunderhill doing a sleep depravation experiment at 160mph.
Jeff: don't break anything!
Jason: say hi to the car for us!
All: have a great time!

For Immediate Release:
Cummins, GA
2008 BP Atlantic Road Race of Champions winner "Fast" Ed Lewis has indicated that, due to overwhelming demand from his fans, he will be re-enacting his much-heralded victory at Road Atlanta on December 6th with NASA.
When asked about his decision to attend this "post-season" race , Ed replied "Well, you know I do it for the little people out there - that's all part of being a champion." Inspiring words, indeed.
A disgruntled fellow competitor whose yellow Corvette failed to finish due to a broken talent on the last lap of the race observed "Little people - BAH! Hell, he is the little people! I should've won that race, here's your champion RIGHT HERE" while making a rude gesture towards startled onlookers. Shortly after making these comments, this competitor was seen assulting a cardboard likeness of Fast Eddie and appeared to be under the influence of Crown Royal.
Sour grapes aside, the ARRC Champion will be on-site to sign autographs at the Compound (prices are $5 for fan paraphanelia, free for various parts of a persons anatomy) during the December event. All proceeds will go to the Bob Mayer Tilton Triple-Disc Memorial Fund.
Have fun down there Ed - looks like Bob needs a hug!

You guys look like a fun group! I can wait to join in on the fun when I move to Fort Rucker, AL in March for my pilot training. Hopefully by then I can start participating in some NASA events and build up to my comp license.

That's priceless Mikah.
I was wondering when this thread was going to surface. I'll be there and plan to bug the hell out of you guys this time for information. This whole year I've kinda kept to myself since I'm such a track newbie, but I'm hoping that I've learned enough so far that I can at least carry on a conversation with you veterans without sounding like a complete azzhat or inserting my foot in my mouth (again:o).
So.....first question:
I will be bringing a set of scrub V710's this time around. I've only run on street tires and a set of 555R2 Nittos to date. Please give me some kind of idea on what cold pressures to start on. Car is bone stock with factory alignment and carbotech 8/10.

With it being cold out, I'd start at around 28lbs the first session, and let air out afterward to stay around 30lbs hot all day.
Be sure and look me up.
