335/30/18 (rear) good/bad for a road racer?
Are there any benefits to running 335/30/18 (rear)? I ask because I'm looking at a Z06 which has been mini tubbed to fit 335.

I run 18x335/30s on 18x13 in back and 18x305/30s on 18x12 up front
Besides tubing you may need spacers to fit the rim on the hub too.
On the street they trammel all over the place, way too ride for street use.

I run Toyo RA1`s 273/35-18 f w/335/30 r with proper corner balance and alignment.........the above combo drives very balanced!
I do agree that the more rubber the better, but a 275 f will work!

Yes, as soon as I buy a vette. I used to have a blown G35 that I raced there, but I sold it a few years ago. Since, my buddy bought a vette and I've fallen in love all over again.

I disagree with the statement about "you`ll have to run 315`s up front to get any kind of neutral handling"
I run Toyo RA1`s 273/35-18 f w/335/30 r with proper corner balance and alignment.........the above combo drives very balanced!

I'm running 335/30/18 in back and 285/30/18 in front (hoosier R6). It keeps the proper diameters for the c5zo6 front and back. Also, if you look at hoosiers tire specs, the 285 tire has more tread width than the 295. My car is not tubbed at all and I use 5mm spacers in back. I think my car handles great .

I talked to CCW when I ordered my new wheels. He asked if I was running Texas World Speedway, if so then I may be careful on the transition to the banking, or raise the ride height a little to keep from bottoming.

-1 left side -0.5 right side was for Charlotte or Lowes Motors speedway and Daytona do to the extream banking.
I think I would start with
-2.0 front
-1.0 rear
Then change to normal road course settings
Normal road courses
-3.0 front
-2.0 rear
