Default ZR1 sway bars

Can anyone verify the diameter of the front and rear ZR1 sway bars? Also, does the rear bar have 3 holes like the T1s do?

I am trying to determine if this is a more cost effective upgrade for a C5 Z06 vs the T1 bars.

Thanks,

cj

do c6 bars fit a c5, the c6 is wider? I assume you meant z51 and NOT zr1? I'm sure the old c4 zr1 bars don't fit a c5 or c6.

FYI c5 Z-51 bars are pretty close to stock for the c5 (fronts are the same as the z06 **i think**) so go with a Z06 setup and you'll be better off. Get the Z06 springs while you're at it too.

I meant C6 ZR1... not Z51. I believe the C6 bars will fit a C5.

I may be the second one to try them since they are only $200. I was hoping that someone in the know could verify if they are close in stiffness to the T1 bars.

Thanks,

cj

I am quite seriously entertaining the idea. I have a Z06 rear for my C6 that was way too much oversteer. A ZR1 front with a Z06 rear has me really interested. Only $100 or so to try...

Thanks! The T1s are front: 38.4mm and rear: 27.5mm, right? So the front ZR1 bar is smaller, but the rear is larger... interesting.

So all things being equal, ZR1 front + Z06 rear nearly gives me T1, but with less understeer, all for under $300. I hope this works!

yes the T1 bars are 38.4 mm front and 27.5 mm rear. i measured them just now to be sure. although i can not tell the wall thickness on the ZR1 bars or the T1 bars. so it is a guess on the stiffness comparison between the 2.
