Default My Tundra thinks it's a race car. [way cool VID]

My Tundra got jealous that I always race the Z06, so I gave her a chance to strut her stuff. Ran a 38.9 on a 1/2 mile course. Same course I finally broke 30 with a 29.97 in the Z.

The video is from a chase car's perspective. VERY VERY COOL. Watch for the black rubber dust coming off the tires in the turn-around.

SWEET!!

Part of me has wanted to run my Quad Cab Dakota through its paces also.
It is all about having fun in auto cross, right.

It's all about fun, but it's also about learning the limits of your street vehicles in a safe environment.

No way in hell the Tundra would ever encounter those maneuvers on the street. Nice to know it will handle extremes and stay shiny-side up.

I ran my dakota quad cab around VIR during parade laps...I was all alone and pushed it as hard as I could...it was fun, but good god it was a pig.

I got to drive a Tundra around the Cleveland track at Burke Lakefront Airport. I was part of the volunteer setup crew for the CART race for a couple of seasons and we got to drive the track in their Tundras. It's great handling for a truck.

My daily driver is an 07 double cab, 5.7, TRD package(for the Bilstiens), TRD rear sway bar, BBS wheels and really great tires I can run all year and tow with, air bags on the rear left at 5PSI when not towing.

It is amazing just how fast I can haul **** through the mountain passes here, even in the rain and snow.

But, they won't let me run it at MMP or in the Solo events, I really want to!

Rick
