Default C4 Camber brace

Do any of you guys that drive Z07 C4s run a camber brace on your car.

Impressions?

I run a RD Camber Brace on our 90 Vette with alot of suspension mods. It seems to hep stiffen the front of the car, allow quicker response, noticable on turn in, and really helps on the road course under hard braking. The front end is very stable. It was worth it as times improved in both auto-x and on the track.

We run one on our 94 with poly bushings and Z07 sway bars. My brother and I both liked the way the car felt when we installed it. After a year or so we had it off for some repairs (not on the bar) and felt a difference with it off.

We mainly HPDE track the car and even though the brace is heavy and adds weight to the wrong end, we leave it on. There have been many discussions about whether or not it makes you faster on the track and most say it wont. When they start giving trophies for HPDEs I'll reconsider.

The Speed Hound brace is only six pounds, is the R&D model more? I've been thinking of trying the Speed Hound one to see if it helps any. They had a special posted in C4 tech awhile back.

Not familiar with the Speed Hound version. The R&D is definitely more than 6. If I had to guess I would say 15 but I might be getting weaker as I getting older.

To clarify... While I haven't weighed mine, I found two references on this forum saying it weighs 9 or 9-10 lbs.

R&D said it's 11 lbs.
which is a ton of front end weight.

I can't notice the difference weather it is on or off.

Could you give some examples of how much it lowered the times?
