Default Huntsville NCCC AutoX 11/1

I'm thinking of making it to this event. Anyone know what the airport site is like? Grip? Tough on tires? Length of courses?

Never been there, but heard that it is VERY hard on tires. Like go through a set in a weekend hard on tires.

It is at the old airport and is now called John Hunt Park. I do not think it is hard on tires but do expect it to be cool. The course is old asphalt that is hard to get a hold of. The local club provides lunch and most of the day goes quick.

I have never autocrossed before, but would be interested. I have done several hpde's. Maybe this is the next logical step. Can somemone give more specifics about the course layout etc, and also do you have to preregister? Who would I contact to do so? Thanks Jerry
