Default What happens when HE-MAN tightens your top shock nut...




apparently someone was feeling reallly strong when installing these things, and they stripped the threads off of the shaft. When I went to turn the nut, it just kept spinning and spinning.

then i taught the damn thing a lesson with my angle grinder.

Well, when you get ours, you will not have that crappy pin top mount! It was probably corrosion as much as he-man with an impact wrench. I can't see why anyone would ever buy aftermarket shocks or coil-overs with that type of upper mount. I would say, no clevis, no deal.

A little duct tape and that shock will be as good as new. LOL
