Broke Down.......and Bought an Auto Trailer
Getting my track tires to the track was a hassle and I wasn't thrilled putting 250-275 miles on my car (round trip) going to the track in Phoenix every month. I 'broke down' and bought a Jim-Glo tilt-bed auto trailer.
I've always admired these trailers...light weight, no ramps, plenty of room between fenders and it pulls great (and they're made in nearby Willcox, Arizona). Our season just got underway so I drove up to Phoenix early Friday morning and got home last night. It was still hotter than Hell in Phoenix but I had 2 fantastic days on the track. What a pleasure it was to roll my car off a trailer ready to go instead of changing tires when I got there.
You can still find a parking space when you arrive early.
