Hot New GT2 Style Side Skirts for C6 and Z06
http://www.breathlessperformance.com...SideSkirts.asp
A must for track days or that ultimate racing look.
Made from special Lightweight ABS it bolts on in less then 1 hour. Screws into your existing frame rail.
Comes in a primer finish that still needs to be prepped and painted
Side Skirts
Side skirts are used to reduce the amount of air that goes under the car from the sides. If an air dam and splitter is used , air under the car is at a low pressure, which causes the higher-pressure air on the outside of the car to spill under the car. The effectiveness of the skirts depends primarily on how close to the ground the lower edge can be maintained. The skirts' effectiveness diminishes rapidly as the gap increases. It can also be designed to create a vortices just below it so as to create a dam to prevent choking the diffuser. It also increases floor area.

If it is mounted and the car is low enough then yes there is a benefit. It would increase downforce.
