Default Lateral Gs ??

I have a 2001 Z06. T1 bars, VBP springs and matched Bilsteins. 18"Hoosiers - 315 and 345 f/r.

What kind of Gs is this setup creating (max)?

1.2 - 1.5 G my guess??
Thanks in advance.

Maybe a little conservative, but in the ballpark...

Depends on venue, track surface , tire compound, ambient temperature etc,etc.....

Peak readings will be a bit higher. Averages are another story.

I've hit 1.5 G's on a common Super Stock Setup, So I could see higher for yours...

I've had a peak of 2.5 G but 1.5- 1.75 is more normal

A real 2.5 g's is impossible with these cars unless there is some impact. Many people quote their data acq systems, but unless you have the sensors correctly located at the exact CG AND mounted correctly, you can only use them for relative measurements.

Speed is a major factor -- 1.5 on an AutoX course is one thing. 1.5G through the climing esses at VIR or Watkins Glen is entirely another story !!

My first auto-x was this past Sunday, and my head unit said 1.3g max lateral g's. I'm happy with that
