I know some of my track buddies never venture out of here so I thought I'd share a couple of pics. The full build thread is linked in my signature. Me and some good friends did all of it other than the actual painting.

Very nice! You guys did a good job!
Can you tell much difference in the ride?
How does the top insert fit in?

My gloss centered Classics are perfect for me... my favorite wheel.
Thanks Jody... top fits perfectly, it's all oem parts. You cut the front 2" off of a coupe roof bow and graft it to the Z06 roof part that you leave in place. The b-pillar rollbar, a-pillars, and winshield surround allready have the holes needed for everything.
No different in ride as it's not really the fixed roof that gives the FRC/Z06 the stiffer chassis. It's actually the fact that you have the b-pillar rollbar from the coupe and the rear crossbar from the vert (the part the trunk lid hinges on). The coupe only has the one and the vert only has the other. The roof part removed was only SMC and wasn't structural.
Cutting the roof out and cleaning it up:

^ Dunno... I'll hit you up when I'm in the area. Probabaly won't be until this fall for the Synergy Fall Fling, but then I'll be towing the Panoz w/ the truck.

WOW Brian it turned out beautifully! Have a pic with the top in place?
I really like the shark without the splitter- to much going on with the splitter. My .02.

Looks awesome! The only time I ever saw your car in person was outside of Hot Tuna a long time ago... I remember that black DRM hood. Still the only one I've ever seen in person.

Very nice Brian!
I must admit that things were looking a little dicey once you started cutting the roof off yourself, but I'll have to admit that the finished product is excellent!
Do you notice any difference in the chassis rigidity now that it's a targa?
Congrats!
