Gee Wally, I didn't realize that a sand storm and hurricane came through Maryland recently...

Good luck with your 'renovations' !!

Nice mess. I think you should go with a patchwork design. Shouldn't you be at Summit Point right now?

If the freaking money tree I planted in the back yard would just grow...

Nationals are expensive, I've decided to cut one or two of the summit races out. Also, summit is pretty crappy right now, so i'd rather just hold out for mid O.

What mess ?

Garages are not museums, they are to work on cars, not display them.

I think the freshly sanded look works...

besides, you might not race as hard in a car all one color...what fun would that be?

My new clutch, fly, etc and some other parts showed up Friday...I am finishing out the year with Synergy (for fun and I like that event) and then Rd Atl Nov/Dec

Good luck at Nationals!

Dangit Wally, it was supposed to be a surprise! And we were supposed to keep on letting Jody think it was a rattle job!

Well, by golly, the cat's out of the bag now, Eric!

Wally has been hanging out with you BMW guys, and he's picked up some expensive tastes.

It's looks good, Wally!

HA!

It's not Torch Red, but pretty close. A tad darker, but is an off the shelf Dupont Nason 2K Urethane. Painted using a $20 Harbor Freight gun in my driveway I got sick of looking at Wally's POOR looking car and offered to paint it for him in exchange for food/beer at nationals! Cant wait to see it done and all the panels back on. Wally wants to sticker the thing up, but I told him he'd have to be patient and wait till the absolute last minute!

Though not a concours job... it meets my criteria for 50/50 rule! PLus any imperfections can be covered with stickers!

one color is way over rated, but since it only cost you food and beer... worth it!
