Managed to almost discharge the battery in the C6 recently -- unfortunately due to not driving it. Is the Optima RedTop Group25 a drop-in replacement? Any other batteries out there worth looking at?

Contingency plan in case the OptiMate can't bring the original battery back to life...

Well, I pulled out the bigger charger and the battery has at least made an initial come back. Still looking for Optima confirmation in case the stocker tries to strand me...

I put a Sears Suv, truck, van battery in mine. My car sits alot with no problem so far after 9 months.

Buy Sears Gold no prorating first three years and if it dies you just return it and you get a new one.
