Default Tires, tires, tires

Currently I am running Toyo RA1's in 18 front and 18 rear config.

I want to have a second set for the track, noticed Hoosier now makes a R comp radial in a P295/30ZR19 which will fit the OEM rear wheel.

On the front 8.5" wide OEM wheel Hoosier has a P245/40ZR18.

Thought this might be a good soultion to saving 2700.00 for another set of Corsairs.

What do y'all think of this?

The price for the 18s are too steep from CCW. It will be cheaper in the long run to run a set of stockers with the new 19" from Hoosiers or Toyos.

I run 255's on the fronts and 295's on the rears (Toyo R888s) on OEM size wheels, which are Z06 replicas. Got em for $750.

Then I have a set of OEM tires and wheels for regular street driving.

I take it you mean the wheels were $750?

I'm running Hoosier 295x18 fronts and 325x19 rears. I bought a second set of comp. grey stock wheels and the setup works great. The Hoosiers are way stickier than the Toyos. I've lowered the car a lot both front and rear and there is no rubbing. For less than $2,700 you will be able to get a set of stock wheels and Hoosiers.

Yes just the wheels.

The Toyos tires were about $1,400. All in for about $2,300 with mounting and tire pressure sensors (recommended).

What is wrong with your rear right? Too little air pressure? You're rolling all over your sidewall!

I don't think so. I was running about 40 psi. You might be looking at the shoe-white stripe that I put on the tire sidewalls to determine how far they were scrubbing on the side. The stripe kind of distorts the image of where the tire sidewall is relative to the track.
