Default Opinions on drag race/road race tires

Curious what most of you guys run. Nittos? Bfg's? Just want to pick someones brain on what most of you guys are using. I really need a tire that hooks up really well ( with 4.10 gears and 500hp) and handles well too --Thanks

What are you planning to do? Are you looking for some DRs?
DRs won't work too well for road racing/Auto X and RR/Auto X tires won't work well for drag racing.

Yes--you are in a pickle. To cover some road course time but also some drag race time, I use the stock F1 Supercars. If you want more grip then that, you should get yourself a spare axle set for the rear with Nitto RRR-II for the road course. Some clubs may not allow you to run them if you are a newbie, they are really an R-compound tire; they prefer you run a street tire (ie 200 tread wear rating). For the drags, obviously drag radials if you want to be more agressive and use some clutch (could use these on the street).

Many times to " hook" properly it comes down to the right foot first, then the tires.
