Opinions on drag race/road race tires
Curious what most of you guys run. Nittos? Bfg's? Just want to pick someones brain on what most of you guys are using. I really need a tire that hooks up really well ( with 4.10 gears and 500hp) and handles well too

What are you planning to do? Are you looking for some DRs?
DRs won't work too well for road racing/Auto X and RR/Auto X tires won't work well for drag racing.

Yes--you are in a pickle. To cover some road course time but also some drag race time, I use the stock F1 Supercars. If you want more grip then that, you should get yourself a spare axle set for the rear with Nitto RRR-II for the road course. Some clubs may not allow you to run them if you are a newbie, they are really an R-compound tire; they prefer you run a street tire (ie 200 tread wear rating). For the drags, obviously drag radials if you want to be more agressive and use some clutch (could use these on the street).
