Default LG radiator review.

On the street there was a slight difference, but the stock radiator was OK on the street.
This radiator brought down temps as advertised, and perfromed better than I could have imagined.

My coolant temps on the stock radaitor at the track were getting over 230 and sometimes 240+

My oil temps were occasionally 300, regularly 280-290+..

On Monday I beat the **** out of my beast and the oil never went over 275, and get this... water temps were normally 205 with 214 being the highest. I also noticed that the oil temps came down quicker when doing a cooldown lap. Before it seemed like the oil stayed hot all day.

One other piece of information. This is with the Vararam which blocks about 30% of the radiator.

If I was running my LPE intake, or a killer bee or something that doesn't block the front scoop the temps would have probably been alot cooler.

Nov 8th is my last run at limerock, and the car usually runs hot there due too running most of the course in 3rd gear and only grabbing 4th for the front straight.

I'm sure my new radiator won't dissapoint.

Thanks LG!

Who makes the LGM radiator? Could it be a re-badged DeWitt or Ron Davis?

No, like many of our parts, we spec out what we want and we have them built to our LG Specs.

And we do not have them built by either brand above.

This radiator is also in many world challenge cars as we speak.

American Power, thanks for the props. we try our best to provide the best product and value in every part we put our name on.

thanks again guys.

Hi Guys,

We built the radiator to work in a World Challenge race car, so we knew that it would be more than enough for a track day car.

And we tested it in Texas which is known for Oil wells and HEAT.

Thanks

Lou G
