Default Kuhmos on Backwards!?!?!??

Well, what can I say, I guess it wasn't obvious enough when he took the old 710's off to put the new ones on, and the stamp that is clearly marked "THIS SIDE FACES IN" didn't mean anything to the F'ing doorknob that changed my tires since he put ALL FOUR on backwards.

WTF!?>!>!>>!>!??!??!??

I dropped the tires off myself, but had one of my employees pick them up and deliver them to my house since I was busy today with a new building we purchased. When I get home, I see my nice stack of tires waiting for me, but as I rolled them in the garage, I thought something looked weird.

Now I have to wait until Monday and truck these things back to him, and have him swap them AGAIN. I just hope the bead isn't damaged from taking them on and off repeatedly.

Has anyone ever run them backwards?

Run them either way, flip them to gain more time out of them. No problems.

Just keep it in reverse. You will be fine.

They might be noisy and, if you drive em in the rain it will suck. i'd take them back and have it done right but im not sure I would want someone that dumb doing it for me.

Noisy...Shouldn't be a problem, these are only for trackdays, and with the windows open and helmet on, I can't hear much anyway...

As far as rain goes, I bring the full set of F1 Supercars in case it's wet.

So if there is no real issue with them backwards, then I'd rather leave them than swap them again. Because my next fear is that the jerk would not bother to rebalance them and just 'guess' where the tire was.

#1 NEVER RUN KUMHO 710s IN THE RAIN. those two little strips are just for legal issues, so that you can technically drive the car on the street.

#2 it doesnt take a genius to operate a tire changing machine.

I ran a set of 710s reversed last weekend at the summit race. It was just fine. I did it because the rubber on the inside looked fresher, so i wanted it on the outside.

Ok 710's Rcompound, I was thinking the directional treaded 711 for some reason.

I've run NT-01s, 710 scrubs & Hoosiers in the pouring rain, no issue here. I was way fast then every car that put street tires back on only one car was slightly fast and he had hoosier wets on.

Helps you to learn car control.

No, not a lake.

The car will get squirlly when you skim across puddles but normally when it's raining that hard you can't see anyways.
You need to let out of the throttle when you cross streams and things of that nature.
