How did you like this setup? Thats are good price on the pads. The last set of XP12's I bought were for the cobra and they were right at $300 for the fronts.

They work really well, I've used PFC01s as well and they were about the same braking performance. 01s seemed as though they would last longer though.

NOT!

PFC 01 are significantly thinner than the Carbos and they wear about as fast. As far as performance, the PFC will fade away before mid-race while the Carbos keep on biting. It's a no contest between the two.

My experiences were different... I don't race, just HPDEs, but my PFC01s lasted about 4 weekends, the Carbotechs looked like they were going to last about 2-3. I might be driving the car a little harder now, but I still think the 01s would last longer. At the same time, they should they cost about a 1/3 more as well.

PFC 01s are 15mm thick by default. How thick are the Carbos? 01s last me 14+ twenty five minute sessions at Thunderhill.

Approx how many HPDE 20-25 min sessions are left on these pads? It seems like a cheap way to try out the xps.
