How much do you want to spend? How much do you want to learn about fuel injection?

I think you need to answer those questions at the minimum to get a good reply.

I used Speartech for my custom harness. Good service from them.

Just need a bullit proof system. Bare bones. Not looking for any HP upgrade, just good, smooth operation. This is a stock motor going in a development car to sort out chassis and brake systems .

I have a Holley Commander 950 system (ECU and their TPI wiring harness) in my 85. Not a stock engine anymore, but still a TPI type of system (HEI distributor with computer controlled advance, batch fire injectors, MAP, TPS, etc.). There may be better ECU's from other manufactures (?) but the Holley is a "reasonable" price compared to FAST and Accel DFI and it has a good tuning interface with it's software for your laptop.

My 2 cents.

Lectric Limited is who I bought my last harness from. Not for a corvette though, but good, solid work.

After my new puppy chewed up the OEM wiring harness, I bought a painless harness for my 1994 LT1 track car. I still haven't installed it though. The quality seems top notch.

Speartech can build the harness to your needs (eliminating things from the street car harness, extending O2 sensor leads, relocating the PCM into the car etc). and provide a pre-programmed baseline PCM to run the motor if needed.

They cost more than painless, but allow custom modifications.

I used Speartech on my last World Challenge car, and they did an awesome job. I used a mix of LS1 and LS2 style connectors, and they seemlessly built what I asked for with no problem whatsoever.

I have no firsthand experience with Painless, but I know someone that had some major issues with one of their harnesses.
