I wouldnt think so. I would think that you would crack them or at the very least have many stress marks that would not be good for machining.

I talked to Wilwood about this, no surprise, while it can be done, they don't recommend machining of rotors.
For the same reasons we are aware of, the capacity to dissipate heat will be diminished.

Pedal pulsation can be a sign of excessive pad buildup. Scuffing the pads and rotors may alleviate the problem.

My 1 3/8" rotors have a 1 1/4" minimum thickness. You go through many pads before you even approach the min. Its nice to clean and even them for new pads. Just make sure you radius the end.
