Default ALMS 2007 Mosport Grand Prix C6R pics

Hey everyone,

I attended the ALMS race at Mosport (Ontario, Canada) yesterday, and I managed to get a TON of C6R pictures. I've never seen these cars in the flesh, and I didn't realise just how AWESOME they really are! And their sound defies all description.

So with that said, I thought I'd share some of the photos with the rest of the race junkies on the forum here.

Enjoy!

I took a buch at Lime Rock but never posted them, One guy said it was OK to take pictures so I did. But they were shall I say very detailed of the car when apart and exposed. Then some gal came by and chased me. I didn't want to get the guy in trouble by saying he said it was OK. Don't really know if I should ever post them.

There was a huge crowd of people around while I was taking these pictures, and I wasn't the only one snapping away so I'm pretty sure it's fine for me to post these. Besides, there's nothing in these that would get anyone into trouble (I don't think...).

With that said, I do have a few others that are of some "detail" items that I won't post .

Great picks! Thanks!

They should give Ron the white one when he retires. It would be nice to park next to his limited edition street version.

I certainly did enjoy! Excellent pix!!

Did you by any chance get all three Corvettes together?

Thanks,
David

Unfortunately, I didn't get all three cars together. I just went through all the pictures I had taken, and while they did have all three cars together in the paddock after the race, I didn't get any pics of it (there were WAY too many people around). Sorry about that.

If it's any consolation, here's a short video clip of all three cars snaking their way through the paddock on their way to the starting line before the race began. Enjoy!

Thanks for posting. I also have a bunch from Lime Rock. What I love most about this series is the access that is granted to all spectators to the paddock area.

I have a ton of all the internals and components as the car was wide open and parially disassembled

Hi Alex!

I didn't realize that there were a number of discussions in the Canadian Section of the forum. WOW, there are some REALLY nice pics there!!! Thanks for posting the links.

BTW - I do know about the Canadian section of the forum, but to be honest I don't normally frequent it. I know, I know... bad Canadian! Sorry about that. I'll swing by that section more often from now on .

That is why a few of us from "The Great White North" are going to make the trip down to Road Atlanta in Oct.
