Save your money. Most of these ultralight batteries are not really practical. If you're racing W2W in a series where they are allowed and you're fighting to find some more weight reductions, then maybe....

Otherwise, most of the new stock batteries you can buy weigh around 30 lbs which isn't too bad and they'll last for years, and you won't have to worry about them. There are plenty of places on the vette to begin your weight reduction program if that's what you're after.

For the majority of the drivers out there, reducing the weight of the car by 25 lbs won't make any difference at all, especially considering that most haven't even had their car's ride height set and had it properly corner-weighted anyway.
