4+3 OD unit - remove water cooling????
My '86 is only used for autocross and an infrequent track session. The OD unit is disabled via removal of the overdrive relay. Can the water cooling lines be permanently removed without causing any issues. I am installing a better oil pan and I thought about removing the overdrive water cooling lines while I was at it. This is also posted in the C4 tech/performance forum.
