Default Got my R3 today

The was the CFGP that Jim Dillon put together with a vendor that has to remain nameless. My R3 arrived in fine fashion and just in time (if I get it installed) for the NCM event at VIR. Big to Jim for putting this all together and saving all who participated a fair amount of money. I will buy you a beer when I see you in Danville, Va Jim. Thanks again.

Be VERY careful attaching the d-rings. The retaining washers are very soft and get cross-threaded easliy. I had to get another set at $23/set.
OUCH...

they also seemed to line up in absolutely the WORSE place in the helmet (where foam an insterior mount) in my Simpson Voyager, but all's well that ends well.

It's a nice piece...I think you'll like it.

Plusses and Minuses ... I haven't decided yet (hell, I don't even have my seats and belts yet!)

Got mine today also, hope everyone is happy with the deal. I need some help at VIR to adjust mine???? The dealer had the MFG go to other dealers to get us R3s in time and blue labeled them out at no extra charge. He also asked that we get some pictures at VIR of anyone that did deal. JD

Received my R3 today as well. Thanks to Jim and all who put the GP together. No time to install today as we are off to a family reunion in Ohio. Hope to get some help at VIR!

Wally you are the guinea pig! Show us how on Sunday.

Thanks

Phil

Glad to here that everyone is getting theirs and happy. I will have all of the tools to do the install at VIR, if you need help. I got mine together last night but need to do some adjusting of the head straps at VIR. JD
