Default M-6 and rear diff oil selection

I think it's time to change the Trans fluid and rear diff oil. It's seen mulitple track days under hard use and high temps. Any Suggestions on what to use in my '02 Z06 ?

I would recommend Royal Purple synchromax for the transmission and max-gear for the diff (with the appropriate friction modifier for the diff).

I'm running AMSOIL ATF and AMSOIL Severe Gear oil for the diff. No additive needed for the diff with this stuff. Many track days logged on it, and no issues. I have an 02 Z.

Amsoil here too.
Red Line has advocates too ... really, any name brand synthetic will work.
I put in Amsoil 75-90 in the Diff last July ... no added friction modifier needed ...
However ... this spring I was doing a hard U turn in a parking lot and heard some clunking ... so I added about 2-3 oz of Amsoil friction modifier ... haven't heard it since.
Get a hand pump ... you'll need it to add both ...

Mobil 1 in both, and I add Problend ATF additive to the trans, and of course the GM limited slip lube in the diff. The Pro Blend additive is like "watter wetter" for ATF. Mobil 1 is readily available, and has not let me down in 11 years of racing C5's and C6's

Dan,
I've been using these for the last three seasons without any problems or failures (other than a diff left axle seal which failed a few years ago):
AMSOIL ATF
AMSOIL Severe Gear Extreme Pressure Synthetic 75w90

If you decide to go with AMSOIL, drop me a PM so I can ensure you get the benefits (about 25% savings) of the AMSOIL Preferred Customer Program.
