Anybody shopping for a track car/trailer??
We put our house on the market and it sold in ONE Day! I'm losing my shop, for now, and I guess I'll just put all of my "car stuff" down at my Dad's farm, and hope I find time to get back to it some day.
I don't really want to sell this stuff, but I have a good ST2 NASA car (or good for various track stuff) and a brand new Featherlite 24' trailer if anyone is interested. The car is light, and relatively fresh, but I'm chasing a few electrical gremlins that I may not be able to address in the 4 weeks I have before we move.
Just putting it out there if anyones shopping!

It a 97' coupe, converted to a convertible. Around 2800lbs empty, stock LS1 with LG headers and LS6 intake and MAF. Should make around 330hp at the rear wheels, exactly what I need for ST2. It has a brand new PFADT coil over and sway bar setup, 2 sets of Speedline Z06 wheels, and am running stock brakes with good pads etc. It's a fun, light car that I had planned on dropping a big motor in once I got the suspension setup.
btw, also has a 5.5" 3-disc clutch.

I'll get some better pictures this week. The engine is out of a wreck, with updated rod bolts and timing chain. Unknown mileage, but NO track mileage yet. Clutch has one event on it.
The car is currently assembled and drivable, but with a miss that I'm tracing. Needs nut and bolting, but is 95% ready to go.

David,
Congrats on the quick sale of your house. I hope you don't give up tracking entirely. I've enjoyed and learned from your posts over the years.

I'm doing a lot of instructing, so I don't really NEED a race car now. That being said, I'm sure I'll eventually get settled in and get back to racing this, or another car. I have a place to store everything, but I'm the type of person that hates to see a race car (or any car) sit and collect dust.
This is a great opportunity for my family, and I will still have scales and alignment stuff for helping you guys out. Just no way I can do engine changes, etc at the new house!

OK, finally tracked down my electrical problems, and the car should be available soon. The PCM is bad, and one of the injector "drivers" is basically pumping fuel all the time. I have a new PCM on the way, and hope to have it all resolved next week.
If anyone is interested in the car, drop me a line. I'm keeping the trailer for now, as I have a lot invested in it, and it has proven very usefull in my moving (and upcoming re-move into our new house).

I don't know her personally, but thanks for reminding me of how much I hate this town. Be glad when our new home is finished in Jan-Feb! Even the home of NASCAR (Concord) is less redneck than the home of Kelly Pickler!
I DO EAT at the local Sonic though, post KP. Great burgers!
