18x35x315 Kuhmo's on the front ?
Hey all, I need someone that has actually run this at a track to tell me I won't crack my front fenders over the jump at Grattan !!!!
I have a set of 17x35x315's I can use but I gotta know if the 18x35x315's are going to work.
This is a '02 Z06 lowered on stock bolts with T1 bars and '04 shocks with stock 18" Z06 wheels F & B.
BTW I'm not interested in starting a "how it will handle" thread" only will it fit without damage.
Thanks.

Thanks UstaB-GS549. I know the 17's will work as I used 'em but the 18's are a very tight fit. I ran them on the road tonight and no rubbing but the track will be different me thinks ! Or I might just be paranoid

I have been running 315x35x18's on CCW's on all four corners for the past year, and although I do more autocrossing than roadracing, I like this setup - recommended by the one and only RAFTRACER.
I DO have some rubbing issues in the front with hard locking turns, even running 3/16" spacers all around, but if you go this route that's a given...

I'm running 18" rear Z06 wheels all around with 315 710s on the rear. I tried them on the front and found them catching on the front finder lip. If you didn't care about rubbing, you might get by. As for myself, I couldn't do it. I have found 305/30 Hoosiers work better, they are just as wide and a bit smaller in OD. They will rub just a touch on the inside at full lock.

Thanks for the info. My main concern is that on full suspension compression the front tire will contact the fender lip ...and crack my fender. I can put up with a little rubbing. This is a particular problem when there is a "jump" like at Grattan.
There's about 1.5" maybe 2" clearance between the tire and fender ! I'm guessing the shock will give me about 1.5" before bottoming out.
I'll run this a Putnam next weekend and see how it goes ...I have 17x315's which I know will not be a problem and I can put these on if necessary.
Any other comments welcome.

You can run the V710 315-18's all around. You WILL get slight "rubbing" on the inside fenderwell and eventually you have to make a repair... they will rub thru.
I've run them with stock C-5 Z06 18 inch rims on both an 04 Z06 and an 07 Z06... with the same results. With the 07... you will also rub the tip of the front air/brake ducts too.
Those suckers do "STICK"... and makes the handling very "neutal" !!!

I have no inner fender lip left but it does not show yet. Have run 315x30x18 on front and they are very close to 315x35x17s in size. Braking and turning is not allowed>
