Running VIR this weekend w/ V710s for the first time... before this I rean Hoosier RS304s.
What should my cold pressures be? I put them all at 30 for now.

Will be at VIR also. Hope to meet you. I start the day at 30F/28R and keep an eye on it rest of the day letting air out as necessary. Just read in another post some folks run it a lot lower though.

I'll be trailering in an older silver Suburban and a 24-ft enclosed trailer w/ C5 emblems on it (borrowing the rig ).
Will be with my father in a blue Z-16 Z06 and Rich (DoingOK) w/ his Silver C6Z along w/ all the other jokers on here that decide to show.
Don't be a stranger!

Bugs me that I can't fine the exact post I read just yesterday. Maybe another forum... Can't keep track sometimes. But a couple searches turned up these posts suggesting low pressures:

I think it was Chris I that said he starts at low 20s in the front, high teens in the rear. I did the same last time out and had great success (watch that warmup lap though!)

Yep, low 20s in front, mid to high teens in the back. That is with -3 F camber and -1.5 or so in back. The 710s have very stiff side walls so the pressures can be lower. Also, these tires have a HUGE performance window. Believe it or not, raising or lowering the pressure 5 psi really doesn't affect the handling of the car that much!!
Get a pyrometer and check your tire temps after a run (while the tires are still really hot), and adjust your pressures from there. One good test is worth 1000 opinions!

I tend to start with 28 on all 4 corners. I have T-1 Sway bars and the car is setup fairly nuetral. You are likely going to have to bleed them off a few times depending on how hot it is outside and how hot the track gets.
