HardBar Seat Rails in 2004 Z06 Question?
I have the drivers side installed with very little clearance, but it's in and feels great. My question is on the passenger side of the car. In the passenger footwell of the 2004 Z06 (not sure about other C5s) near the front left floor bolt is a raised section of flooring. What is under the carpet and how do I use the perfectly flat HardBar mounts with the rised floor?
How has anyone else installed a racing seat in the passenger side?
Please Help.

That bump in the carpet is covering a little electrical module. I think it is the yaw sensor used for active handling and ABS. Hardbar seat mounts and our Pfadt mounts both require the relocation of that sensor. I usually recommend just moving it over an inch or so and screwing it back down to the floor firmly. The location is not super important, although it is good to be close to the center of the vehicle. The axis of orientation is important, so make sure that it is aimed the same way as it was.

Thank you very much for the explantion. Hardbar did mention that the yaw sensor was there but made it sound as if thier passenger side rails made an accomodation for it and made no mention of needed to relocate the sensor.
Is it a straight forward fix? Peel back the carpet, remove the screw, move the sensor, screw into new location, and cover? Or is it more involved?
