How are Pilot Sport PS2's for autocross/HPDE's?

I want to put some street tires on my CCW's so I can hit some events out here.
Somehow I don't think Hotel housekeeping will appreciate a stack of hoosiers next to my luggage
They seem to be the only street tire I can get in
335/35 ZR17
335/30 ZR18
For $400ea I'd like to get some feedback on them

Advice is spot on. I switched from PS2's to PS Cups. R Compound tires make a huge difference. No comparison, PS Cups lightyears ahead. Not a good street tire however as you will likely get 6,500 miles on a set.

Like any other engineering trade, you cannot get any compromise to be ideal in any and all circumstances. They are not as quick as a Hoosier, but for a street tire, they are pretty good.

I've love to run the PS Cups, but I can't get the sizes I need
I've got 18x12 front rims and 17x12 rears. Great for running 335 Hoosiers, but not much else.
If I step down in size say a 305 front 315 rear, I could get Ecsta V700's

I love my sport cups,315/30/18 rear, 295/30/18 front. I had to drive on them to Pocono once before I bought the trailer, 3hrs each way. The tread wear rating is 80, and they get stuck in the truck ruts on the highway, and because they're so sticky, they pick up everyting off of the roadway. Not a very good street tire, but get it on a roadcourse and they're fantastic, they turn in without a skip, handle the power out fine also, and Watkins Glen is fast becoming my home track, and with these tires I feel very confident taking the chicane at 78-82 mph, pulling uphill through the esses at 126-130mph. Even taking turn one after the front straight, they grip fantasticaly. And listening to them them squeel while taking a turn is an adreneline rush. My speeds are not track records but theses tires stick like glue, and for a lowley blue run group driver like me, they really give you the confidence you need so you can concentrate on the course and not worry about grip.

Top 3 Dry Skid Pad "times", in the history of One Lap of America (where R-compounds are NOT allowed): 1.08g-Danny Popp, 1.075g-Rodney Sizemore, 1.074g-Danny Corcoran...ALL on PS2's, ALL with PoppShocks...

I just got back from today's autocross, and talked with the tech guys.
(always talk to tech before spending $$$)
They have street tires classes, but not for BSP or SM2 cars.
I can put street tires on the stock rims and run in a street tire class, but not the big rims.

I have been running the stock sized Z06 Pilot Sport PS2's for the last 9 months. (265/40ZR17, 295/35ZR18)
On wet pavement they are great.
On dry pavement they have less grip than the F1 Supercars.
