Default Fastest Laps ?

I found an interesting car comparison site, http://www.fastestlaps.com/, that seems to have quite a bit of potential.

It has collected lap times and specs for many cars for easy comparison. The site seems fairly new and has a few bugs in the "sorted lists".

And, no I'm not affiliated with the site...

Are there any other sites that offer this kind of comparison?

Oh yea, the C6Z is currently their most popular car
It compares well against some stiff competition too

That is a very nice site, but whoever was driving the Z06 at Laguna Seca was probably in the Noobie group turning a 1:47.3 in that car. I turned a 1:48.4 in a 13 year old LT1 with 285 RWHP(on V710's.)

Default The Willow Springs times are IMPOSSIBLE.

Yes, it does need some refining yet.

I don't think a Formula 1 race car could turn a 1:01 on Willow Springs big track.

Now if they're talking about the Horse Thief Mile track at Willow Springs, then a very good driver might be able to do a 1:01 in a stock Z06 with stock tires. (performed by Motor Trend magazine)

Yes it does need some refining but a 2007 F1 would probably blow by the 1 minute barrier pretty easily. I don't think the track has changed too much:

Bob

I can vouch for that time. I did it a while back on the big track when I got to drive a magazine car.
