Never heard of this group. would 8 HPDE's and a spring Mt school cert get me in? Have solo priveleges with Chin at Homestead and will take checkout drive at Sebring this Sat. Is it sold out yet?

with your experience, yes you could get in. you'll need to list a member as a "sponsor" (someone to vouch for you).

Just go to their website and get e-mail and phone #. This will be my 3rd hpde and im still antsy. I read all the info I can on this site and have done some brake upgrades. Youll love the SAFE group; reasonable fees and drive the whole day except lunch.

going to see how it goes this Sat and decide if I can go May 26. Already paid for chin Sebring June 9. Only problem is that I'm working until about 7-8 pm the day before and would not make it in until after 11pm. want to be fresh for a track day!

Red gump has been extremely helpful. Thanks for offering to time me, though with chin it may be hard to get a clean lap with the slower cars--some will be there on their first HPDE!

I'm planning on going! Be nice to see you Gump, it's been a long time. I think Mark & Chill will be there, and Mike and Robert will be there too depending on if a diff and an engine (respectively) come in by then.

I'll be there watching this Saturday with Chin and driving on Sunday. I'll also be there May 26 with SAFE. I definitely prefer SAFE to Chin. More driving time and less regimented.

Cracked cylinder sleeve. It was running, but he felt something was off pulled the heads to find the crack.

New bigger motor is on order!

BBQ sounds great!! I can chip in fundage and labor! I'm trying to convince the General Manager of our hotel to join us in his Bimmer... he's a German trained Chef and former rally racer. So in addition to showing us how to drive through the infield, he can show us how handy he is with bbq tongs!

I'm coming with wife and son and staying at a friend's vacant house about 10 minutes from the track Friday and Saturday night.

I am expecting to be there at this point. Hope to have the wife with her BMW as well Gump, so your brother will have some competition. Although she only runs in the afternoon "after the fast guys all break"

man I'm hoping I won't be one of them. april '06 was my last vette outing and I had all kinds of electrical problems, hoping they're solved.

Another one of my drag race buddies, Rick Mortell, will be joining us in his silver C4. My GM decided he's going to drive up to do some ride alongs this time, and to help with the BBQ and Beer in the afternoon.
