Default Summit Point National in car video!

Rhonda was finally able to dump the Summit Point video on the website! Ignore my brainfreeze in turn 1 of the first lap and enjoy the rest. I had a great battle with Jason B., now I know what it's like to work for a pass! Had it not been for my stud failure I had 4th place locked up, and I am proud of that fact!

Great video, but it sounded like you got bump in turn one.

Great vids, looks like your car does a little "brake" dancing going into one!

On the lap 16 video you've obviously slowed way down, which led me to believe the failure happened progressively. Any idea what happened (other than the wheel broke off)?

Thanks for the vids, and have a good one,
Mike

It looks like you are in 3rd and 4th the entire lap?

Well, the third time is the charm, isn't it? It took you three freaking opportunities to make the pass on JB!!! I am going to take a hammer to your car next time I see it so you can feel comfortable being aggressive!!

I was surprised how "mild" the tire/wheel assembly coming off appeared. I am sure that you think otherwise. BTW, did you see your reaction on Fondakowski's video? Classic!

BTW2: you drove a heck of a good race. Keep pluggin away, and pretty soon those races are going to become wins.

I noticed a slight vibration in turn 9, enough to say "hmm, what is that?" I planned on taking it easy if i had a tire going down to try and limp as far as possible since I had a BIG lead on the guys behind me. In turn 10 they broke. The vibration was likely a couple of the popping and through 10 the rest just let go. I dialed it back wisely. In some respects i think jumping off on pit rod may have been worse since there is a wall i could have collected if it broke there. Oh well, onward to NHIS!

Thanks Dave, I'm trying to keep my head up! I tell ya, the more this stuff happens the more apt I am at putting my nose in places! She's not the prettiest thing anymore!

Rhonda and i laughed at my reaction on Steves vid, she said she's seen "pros" do that exact thing!

Talk about a WTF moment.
Glad you had the runnoff area when needed.

Hope things are going well Joe.

Great vids. High quality is nice to see. Keep them coming.
Did the studs actually fail or did the nuts come loose?
