Default Overseas P1 teams testing for Le Mans

(despite financial odds)

Dome is a Japanese-based race car constructor.

Dome has upgraded their S101 Le Mans prototype chassis to meet new regulations. The new car has been dubbed the S101.5. The Racing for Holland was started by Jan Lammers in 1999. They will race the car with a new 5.5 liter Judd V-10.

Laurent Chauveau: Jan Lammers, hello. You must be satisfied this season because the Racing For Holland team became an official partner for Dome?

JL: "Yes, Dome grants a little more support to us this year because we have many new things to test and adjust. We have a new frame, a new engine, new tires, a system of shifting of speed very different bus it pneumatic is controlled electronically while the precedent was mechanical, of new exhausts intended to improve our aerodynamics, of new clamps of brakes, a new system of cooling of the brakes, a new aileron, not badly of small aerodynamic innovations, etc... It is thus a car which enormously evolved/moved and very different from that of the last year."

Laurent Chauveau: Do you have a sufficient budget right now to ensure the complete season?

JL: "Not, not yet. The more so as I want to make the two last sleeves of American Mans Series, Petit Mans and Laguna Seca. It is usual for a TEAM such as our starting the season while having only 60 to 70% of the total budget necessary. It is what is a little risky because it is as a train which would spring on the way by knowing that the rails all are not posed yet! Therefore, we must still find financing. Sometimes one arrives there, and sometimes one fails... But I really make a point of disputing the entirety of the season Mans Series. Even if the end of season is financially difficult."
