Default Macao GP

Macao Motorcycle GP.

With all our discussions about safety i thought i would toss this out here.

With the lack of runoff and concrete/steel barriers, this race would be dangerous with a full cage let alone 1/8 inch leathers.

Truly crazy

And to think that the AMA was worried about the Billy Mitchell Bridge at Road America.

Call my crazy, but I like races like this. I liked the era of racing when the drivers were defying death. Sure it was dangerous, but it was also exciting because the drivers knew the consequences of screwing up. Pretty soon racing is going to be so safe that anyone can do it and where's the excitement in that?

that's something like Sir Sterling Moss said about drivers today no way to compare and it was part of the risk and fun. Isle of Mann race is worse where you can hit a tree or stone wall. The steel barrier you might slide against if lucky.
