I wish Speed TV would show the 24 Hours of Spa...
Von Gartzen and Heinricy finished 3rd in race one. Race two will be this morning, the 29th, just before the 58th annual 24 Hours of Spa.

20th place for Heinricy/Von Gartzen in race two

The link to the live timing isn't working, but this one updates every hour.
GLPK is in third after six hours, on the same lap as Phoenix Racing's race-leading # 5 DBR9 and Vitaphone Racing's # 1 MC12. Vitaphone's # 2 MC12 is out of the race.

Maserati's homologation special wins 24 Hours of Spa again
GLPK finished 3rd overall and 3rd in GT1. Just think if customer C6-Rs were built and sold...
Overall and GT1 winner at Spa: # 1 Maserati MC12
GT2: # 59 F430 GTC driven by Mika Salo and two others (Ferrari swept the GT2 podium)
G2: # 197 Porsche 997 GT3 RSR (it was the new 911's only race for 2006, but they had Porsche factory drivers and support)
G3: # 116 Dodge Viper Competition Coupe (FIA GT3 Championship car but entered in the 58th running of the endurance race)

Some added info of someone who was there as a spectator
>GLPK finished 3rd overall and 3rd in GT1.
One of the drivers (Anthony Kumpen) gave an interview. They were actually aiming for more then 3rd place. A special prepped engine was sourced from the US. Bert Longin, who took the start, was on the pace of the Maserati and the leading Aston Martin for the first hour. But lady luck turned her head, problems with the oil pressure. From then on they had to come in every hour to feed the engine with 8 litres of preheated oil. Only being able to drive a "steady pace" without the possibility of attacking, makes it a well deserved 3rd place i guess !
Next month they will be racing in the 24 hours of Zolder (another track in Belgium), but this time with an C5-R instead of the C6-R. 24 hours of Zolder is part of the Belgian National GT championship named Belcar. I'll try to shoot some pics for you guys then.
>G2: # 197 Porsche 997 GT3 RSR (it was the new 911's only race for >2006, but they had Porsche factory drivers and support)
Those were Olaf Manthey porsches I believe, a well known German Porsche racer and tuner, indeed with factory support as it was a first competition testcase for the new 997 rsr.

But I must admit I don't know what setup (CF or not) GLPK is actually running in the Belcar.
