Default A pair of OSP Z06s...

Blue car is mine, black car is my buddy's. Mine is a Cartek 348 (~440 RWHP) and the black car is a 383 (~490RWHP). I got him by a bit both days though. The pics are at the Super 8 in Merced, CA... we were out there for the American AutoX Series events in Atwater.

I know, I know: no action shots. But a friend just happened to snap these so I thought I'd share.

I beat him both days. Though the 383 car is noticeably quicker out of turns and on straights (obviously). I've AutoXed both. He has about 50RWHP on me at peak, but he has a HUGE torque advantage in the low-mid range. I guess you could say I drove around the power disadvantage.

No doubt... as I'm still regularly ~1 second behind SS.

I did get TJ by .1 on the second day, but +1. Regardless, I am bringing the bottle of tequila next time.

I have only had my car for a few months and it is still on a prettymuch stock setup - stock allignment, z06 springs and sways, and bilsteins. Compared to my RX7/LS1, the z06 has a long way to go to work out the understeer and settle the tail down, and then I should run well with TJs.

This winter I will get serious about dialing in the suspension and should on the blue one next year

.1 faster scratch + 1.0 for the cone = .9 slower. So like I said: I beat the 383 both days.

But you're right, next year you'll probably smash on me. I'm stuck with the basically stock susp. with my budget what it is right now. And you're gonna get all pervy w/ coil-overs 'n such.
