AJ has been cleaning out the trailers and has found some tires that will make great Track day tires..

Goodyear 315/17 GSCS DOT Radials. 2 to 3 heat cycles. Lots of life left. $300 for set of 4

Hoosier A3so5 305/18 and 335/18 Matched set of 4. 2 to 3 heat cycles... $350 for set of 4.

Hoosier A3so4 317/17 2 to3 heat cycles. Matched set of 4. $150 for the set.

Hoosier R3s03 315/17. 5 available 2 to 4 heat cycles. $125 for all 5.

Goodyear Rain Tires 275/17 and 315/17. Half worn. Goos as internediate tire. $150 for set of 4

Hoosier R6 245/35/18 Set of 4 matched 5 heat cycles. $275 for set of 4

My fronts are currently 315 GY GS-CS on 19X9.5. GY recommends 10" min.

They work on my 9.5" rims. The sidewalls are bowed somewhat. I'd bet the net effect is like running a narrower tire up front, since the outside edges of mine hardly wore at all. Not alot of contact, it appeared. I've been told that GY are some of the only 315s that you can do this trick with.

Ken, yes, it works fine. Ask the Tedster, he has been running 315 Hoosiers on 9.5's on the front of his Z for a few years now. I thought I had a pic of one but not sure where it's at.

Ok... So let me know if you want a set of the goodyears...

One reason the Goodyears work better is that the sidewalls are less stiff and they will flex enough to facilitate mounting...
