Default Track vs Street Wheel & Tire Combo

Ok,
I've now got 2 complete sets of Z06 wheels to use on my C5. One set will be for street and the other set for open track days. I need help deciding what wheels to use for this. I was planning to use all rears 4-18x10.5 for street use and the 4-17x9.5 for track. I have heard it is easier to find new and/or used race tires for the 17's. I put the 18x10.5 on the front to look at how they fit with street tires which is in the pics as follows:

What do you guys think about the front wheel sticking out of the fender a little bit?
Now I think maybe I should go with all 18's for the track since I won't care about the extra rubber sticking out on the track.
